FAQ
How do you photograph weddings?
I try to prioritize ensuring that weddings run as smoothly as possible. To me, that means making sure that I come prepared and keep things as stress-free as possible. I take a documentary approach, but also provide guidance and direct when necessary. Ultimately, my goal to make sure that I'm able to capture the feelings and moments that make weddings so special, while also providing a fun experience.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Maryland, but typically travel around the DMV area for my clients. If you're interested in having me tag along somewhere outside of the DMV area, please feel free to ask! I'm willing to go wherever you want to take me!
When will we get our photos?
For weddings, turn around time is anywhere from 6-8 weeks. Sneak peeks will be delivered within 24-48 hours from the day of the wedding.
For all other portrait photography (couples, families, ect.), turn around time is about 2-3 weeks.
How many pictures will we receive?
I always choose quality over quantity, and for that reason I never put a limit on how many photos a client receives. I choose and edit the best photos from the day and deliver them to you. On average, portrait photography (couples, families, ect.) usually have about 100-200 photos. Weddings can range anywhere from about 800-900 photos.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! For weddings, 25% of the full amount will be collected as a non-refundable payment to reserve the date. The amount left after the initial payment will be collected over a span of time depending on the date of service.
All other portrait photography services (couples, families, ect.) are eligible to put down 50% of the full amount upon booking, and the other 50% will be collected on the date of service.
How do you protect my photos from data loss?
As your photographer, I take image security seriously. I use a reliable backup system to protect your photos from data loss. This includes saving your images on multiple secure drives and cloud storage to ensure your memories are safe, even in the event of hardware failure. Your photos are important to me, and I’ve taken extra steps to keep them secure and accessible long-term.
